James Watson, a wealthy merchant decided to build a building 3 times taller than any building in New York in 1793 so he built this three story house. It is now a shrine to Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, the first natural born citizen of the US to be cannonized by the Roman Catholic Church. Download
